Compared to modern stadiums it's a shitheap structurally but I haven't been since the 90's and I imagine they put some money in to it at least the year they got back to Serie B. It is a nice place to watch a game though; you get the sea breeze from nearly every part of the stadium and you can see the local church and some of the residential buildings rise up around it. You have to take a fairly long vaporetto ride to get there, though there was an "express" service at one point on match days from close to the train station. Not necessarily a bad thing; you just have to plan ahead but you get a short tour of Venice from the water. I found this short article with some current looking photos: https://www.soccerbible.com/news/2021/05/venezia-fc-ready-to-welcome-the-big-teams-from-serie-a/ Looks like they at least added individual seating to the bleachers that were there before and they cleaned up the entrance. It really reminds me of a backwater train station somewhere in the Veneto; it's got that 60's - 70's feel and the ubiquitous military style tan color on the walls. It's tiny as you can tell from the photos.
