i got a used microsoft surface for around 300 on offerup. here is my review the stand is extremely sturdy. it's as stiff as ever after 6 months of using it every day. i'm honestly amazed It's very sturdy in general. i've dropped it several times with no cracks. i think it has some kind of aluminum frame it runs full windows which means it can run krita, photoshop, whatever you want instead of finding bad replacements the os is garbo, obviously. it gave me WerFault 0xc000012d when i tried to use the included voice support. touch support is an afterthought. i just uninstalled all the windows app poo poo and it works fine i had to install a third party driver to get pressure sensitivity on the pen to work because of some sort of dispute with the pen manufacturer (?) it's a bit heavy it can run 2d games such as ck3 or roguelikes, but you'll want the charger connected. 3d is out of the question it can do most shaders on shadertoy at 5-30fps full screen but becomes a heater. it has no fans battery life is chill overall i am glad i bought it because of the full os support and the pressure sensitive pen, plus it was much cheaper than an ipad. overall: 7/10 Winty fucked around with this message at 21:55 on Apr 3, 2021 |
