Unfortunately no one immediately comes to mind in WWE as a young guy who has heaps of potential and could be made into one of their top guys by beating Reigns. Ironically, Roman Reigns seems like exactly the kind of heel character that Reigns needed to beat 7 years ago to be cemented as a big-deal face who wouldn't get lots of boos. It feels like a waste to have anyone under 30 beat him, but that's a veeery short list in WWE. In the land of fairly old but talented wrestlers whose bodies are damaged to varying degrees, you could certainly do worse than Cesaro. I think it's more likely Cesaro will keep not getting title shots or getting beat, then Big E will pop out of his Crews feud and beat Reigns. That could lead to a fun face vs. face match where Big E gives Cesaro the match that Reigns has been denying him, with Cesaro winning the title there. Cesaro gets a solid-by-WWE-standards story with a gold-watch title reign that may lead to more opportunities down the road, and Big E gets that guy-who-beat-Roman rub.

Watched a Smackdown just in case this was Bryan's retirement from WWE, then they made it clear that this was just his last match on SMACKDOWN. Not worth it.
