Problem description: If I turn my display port connected monitor off while using google remote desktop, it does not detect the monitor when it is switched back on, even when Google remote desktop is off.. The other, HDMI connected, monitor, does not have these same issses. Strangely, even though no input is connected, my DP monitor is still treated as my "desktop screen" and no icons appear on hdmi monitor. I can mouse over, and mouse is clearly still scrolling across an invisible desktop, but no input is seen. Attempted fixes: turn monitor off/on, turn hdmi monitor off/onunplug/replug from monitor, unplug/replug to graphics card, restart with monitor off, restart with monitor on, 'detect monitor' in display settings, toggled options in display settings, toggled "maximum performance" in nvidia control panel Recent changes: Connecting/disconnecting remote desktop -- Operating system: Microsoft 10 64 bit System specs: Can provide, but given that this only comes up when remote desktop is involved, does not seem relevant. DP Monitor is ACER XFA240, HDMI monitor is BenQ Location: What country are you in? US I have Googled and read the FAQ: Yes The most promising google result referred me to nvidia panel but that didn't fix it.
