nxt takeover portland

still havent watched the playback of it because being there was just another level

I had tickets for that one but backed out on it…
to fly to Manchester for what was possibly the last ever SCHADENGRAPS, the “gently caress Off, Chrissy B” sendoff for his move to Japan.

absolute madness the entire time.

highlights include:
Inflatable Battle Royale where a bunch of inflatable dolls decorated as wrestlers were set up by folks wearing all black, someone coming out in a blow-up shark costume and standing in one of the corners, El Phantasmo came out and chopped up the inflatables, then Aleah James popped out of the shark and pinned ELP for the win

Brookes ran a gauntlet that was pretty much just a shitload of minute-long matches with all the other wrestlers, including surprise entrants Flash Morgan Webster and Charli Evans

and for the final act-

No-Fun Dunne “killed” Brookes and then Lykos, Kyle Fletcher and Dunkzilla all sobbed over him in slow-motion while Enya’s “Only Time” played to close out the show.
