I don't think Marcus is v good at business tbh. He keeps telling me in the beginning that he's doing this to make money but he keeps investing in single-location restaurant or retail businesses famous for absurdly low-margins and saying poo poo like "The Burger Industry is a 95 billion dollar sector so you can see I want an in. An in Billy's GoodMeat might provide." I would also recommend not investing in businesses with mountains of hidden debt or constant family in-fighting like he does every single episode. probably wouldn't watch it if i wasn't getting paid tbh.
