I've been watching this movie for an ENTIRE HOUR and there's been exactly ONE bird attack and not much more focus on birds than you'd expect to see in a film not about birds. I've just been listening to Tippy and whatserface talk about some dipshit momma's boy for twelve goddamn minutes. I could make a better bird-related horror movie than this in my backyard. Applewhite's score: two middle fingers (birds) up at this waste of time.

I always thought The Birds felt like a Stephen King story that was only marginally better than an actual Stephen King story because the ending was actually good.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed when I watched this for the first time too. Gonna recommend Night of the Hunter if you're in the mood for some classic horror that is good and not boring

I watched the entire movie many years ago, but only vaguely remember it. A few months ago I tried to watch it again. I stopped after about the first hour because it was too boring. What a spooky coincidence.
