Well, that's easy for you to say. You have a bad imagination. It's stupid. I live in a fantasy world.

Last year to avoid spending money my wife and I made a big batch of dry rub (for meat and tofu) and gave everyone in the family a little bottle (and some toys for the kids). I made a fun little card lah dee dah. It was a big hit and we're even poorer this year so I thought I'd like to do it again.

Yeah we're theater types and we live near Ashland Oregon where they have that big Shakespeare fest

I think I'll do a taco seasoning with homemade chili powder. Any suggestions or recommendations?

Or something with zatar so I can call it Zaatar Hero.

Whenever I phase out older spices for new ones or make a spice blend and don't use it all, or someone gives me some random jar of mix and I don't care for it, the remainder goes into a giant jar of "unlabeled spices" that I use for bbq ribs or for seasoning ground meat like meatloafs or meatballs. After a while of mixing stuff in you'll have a jar with dozens of ingredients that you can never replicate, and it's great fun to use!

Edit: this sounds sarcastic, but it's not, unlabeled spices jar is awesome and I got super mad when my home one disappeared as roommates moved in and out.
