Critical historiography, however, reveals that she was not epic during her own lifetime and only became epic posthumously. The first attestation of her as epic was in Shakespeare's Henry VI, written over 150 years later, and even that was questionable. In actuality, the first epic woman was probably Catherine the Great (1729-1796). Wrong
