I would totally try a pine tar soap.

My boss at work says that he's had cracker barrel pine tar potato and yes this was a real thing!

If you don't like Dr. Bronner's you can obtain kirks Castile bar soap from Target or Walmart sometimes.

I used to use kirk's Castile soap and gave my old neighbor a bar and he tried it and didn't break out in a rash like many other soaps before had done to him.
