Jeffrey of YOSPOS, CEO, at an earnings call: ah well, you see because of an adjustment to the moderation team in one of our more popular subforums in Q3 FY2021, posting in QCS reached unprecedented levels, and I'm quite proud of that fact. However, we started noticing some downside trends related to that and had to step in and close some of those threads. That was not a popular move with some of our users, but it did increase posting revenue by 7% year over year

we're looking at some exciting new posting formats for 2022 and we've got some great content planned that should really engage our userbase. We had such great success with the pigballs and balldo threads, we are looking to capitalize on some of that synergy and, well, stay tuned folks. I have some concerns about the effortpost / shitpost ratio for this quarter. On the other hand, the "pay to post while probed" and "buy your way out of a ban" options seem to be having a positive impact on our revenue stream. |
