everyone knows that in 2012 the last living mayans threatened an apocalypse and used an ancient ritual calendar to doom this world. no action was ever taken against them, there are no laws against magic curses and anyway nobody is really sure where the mayans are or who is the government boss of them so there was nothing done. they have not been idle since 2012 and neither should you be things we know about mayans and potential threats: live in cities of gold using blood magic -- scientists did calculate even one golden mayan city would be enough metal mass to make a meteor large enough to wipe out the entire world essentially. south and central american NASA agencies have been suspiciously quiet for a long time... too long power to shape stone and even dark glass -- don't think need to lay out the risk here for anyone, oldest weapon multiplied over all these times... yikes starsology -- again imo this lends more to meteor theory, mayans were one of the first countries to learn to tell the future from the stars, whereas even modern scientists are stumped at how to read anything but the past from the stars... but we all live in the present moving into the future. calendar --as architects of time itself they obviously could have built a backdoor into timekeeping technology like calendars and sleeper cell mayans at any moment could rise up and use this latent vulnerability to do all sorts of things to create chaos for us. linking pyramids -- people still don't what mayan temples were used for or who or how they were built. very few have ever seen or been inside of one, with most images online and textbooks being very convincing hoaxes (or until recently when nft ais have been to backtrace the images and find the digital chicanery). there was one news story a while back about a group of tourist friends were basically lured and lost out in the jungle and it turns out there were essentially being herded towards this ancient temple, where they were surrounded by vines that seemed to move and hunt and make noise like a predator animal. Even the local natives feared this pyramid and had burned and salted the land around it to keep it from growing and taking over, but the tourists died one by one as they went mad and the plant ate them or they killed each other. this was only one pyramid we know about think of what others might hold. one thing is clear is most pyramids today still stand enough to form a linking leyline network to hide themselves even from modern satellites. funny that ancient mayans were prepared for spaceage tech thinking theyd be needing it in their lifetimes but took rest of world so long to get there. i know there are other theories but it's kind of "pascal's wager" situation and you more or less need to focus on prepping for one particular kind of apocalypse and hope it's generalist enough to at least get you through the initial event if it isn't the one you thought. assuming it will be a golden meteor strike bombardment, your first priority should be stockpiling nonperishible food ready-to-eat. You'll need to be eating it cold enough to store with no way to heat it most times and might as well start getting used to it now. You also want to be studious about ingredient lists as some common preservatives are thought to be used as part of government mind control that may interfere with your survival protocols once poo poo hits the fan for all the black suv drivers out there. the ideal physical shelter you need to be stocking all this time is almost poetic; the very same mysterious structures mayans designed hundreds of millions of years ago, but using modern materials actually provide the perfect bunker from the kinds of impacts an orbital bombardment would bring and the subsequent molten layer of gold covering the earths surface and oceans like an ice-cream choco-shell. Obviously nobody can build a full scale mayan pyramid but you don't need to, it's only the exterior geometry needed and you can scale it to suit yourself or however many supported in your bunker. 3d scans and models of the best shapes for certain geography and soil types are available online if you use the right browser. im not the best prepper, i got my rear end kicked in y2k and with pre-2012 kony but every day im less unprepped than the days before tomorrow and we can swap tips, maybe skip the obvious ones like pringles can shower or toilet paper reclamation think everyone has that covered from the mad cow pandemic days |

I thought the blood magic thing was mostly the Aztecs? maybe it was both. anyway, the Mayan who was in charge of the calendars was dyslexic, so the world ended last year op. hth
