Matt Striker 2 Receiving one vote: Chris Charlton; Don Callis; Taz; Willie Urbina Corey Graves manages to repeat his 2019 and 2020 wins of Worst Television Announcer by a long way for a three-peat, clearing his competition by leaps and bounds. both Pat McAfee and Chris Jericho made strong pushes in their first years of regular television commentary, we’ll have to watch out for these bright young talents in future competitions. Being The Elite 1 RAW also manages to repeat as worst television show two years running, but the revamped NXT 2.0 will nip at its heels. Joe Gacy is the poster child for everything NXT 2.0 ruined about itself - a Boomer-assed gimmick on a show ostensibly designed to be younger and more hip. He's almost certainly driven eyes away from the product singlehandedly. I've seen a lot more HoT since they're in a promotion that I actually watch sometimes, so this isn't a sentimental vote - emotionally speaking, I hate HoT more. But Gacy is such a spectacularly ill-judged failure - one that accomplishes the literal opposite of the thing it was designed to do - that I have to acknowledge it. I don't think NXT has ever averaged over a .2 demo for any appreciable length of time outside the first couple months and for the most part has been under that. The demo basically hovers around what it was doing pre NXT 2.0, just a tiny bit lower.
