I too have heard from twitter that humanity will be ended by a disease that even before widely available vaccines had a lethality rate of first time infections of under one percent in most populations. And it could all have been prevented if Capitalism hadn't created a social order where people needed to interact physically for the system to work and to be able to have meaningful lives

Ya it's p obvious everything is hosed we can't handle a pandemic thats solved by making people wear a mask get a vaccine and stay home as much as possible, in an era where a shitload of jobs can be done at home or partially automated as to not need as many labourers. It's literally 'save the world by staying home and watching tv' and we can't even handle that. Now magine just how much we're going to fail at handling climate change. Lol Start doing drugs
