PSVR 2 has a decent amount of great stuff on it. I still haven't run out of stuff to play. I'm just irked at how grim the future looks for it.

I use mine for Beat Saber and Synth Riders as a good cardio workout, so basically I'm already kinda satisfied with what I have, but it would be a shame if such a good piece of hardware was abandoned. In an ideal world the PC support will actually fully support the PSVR2 and its controllers, because there's no way I'm going back to my Rift S after this, and also there's no way I'm buying yet another VR headset.

Minigolf definitely rocks, and GT7 is great. I even bought a wheel for it and a seat because it is so much fun in VR.

Oh, Alien VR finally has a real name. It was actually announced back around the VR2 launch, but with a placeholder name. Director says their main gameplay reference is Isolation, which bodes well if they can pull it off.

Sounds cool, but def not for me. I'm a big fuckin baby and stopped playing isolation before I ever even encountered the alien cuz the game scared the poo poo out of me.

On PC you can play Isolation in VR and it rules so much. I dunno how they'd ever top that. I'd put it as probably my #3 VR experience ever and it cost me like $2 I'm intrigued regardless, but that trailer is a joke.

I really don't get why Sega doesn't just go in and finish the VR mode that was already like 3/4ths done and put that last bit of polish on it. They could totally just resell Isolation as a VR game. it would probably cost them next to nothing to do. I'd buy it again.

Just got a psvr2 and this thing sucks Pro Era 2 just doesn’t work, my right controller doesn’t work in any game, took a while to even set the play area correctly. If it wasn’t a gift I’d take it back for sure

Onboarding is a little rough and it's a little more arcade jank but the 2MD football game was more fun once you get the hang of it, although I haven't tried Pro Era 2 yet just the first one.

Also make sure your ps5 firmware is fully up to date, which will do some very necessary psvr2 updates in turn.

I know it’s the VR2 thread, but I got a PSVR1 for cheap and looking for other games to play with it. I’ve got the Aim Controller as well. So far I have Farpoint, Astrobot and RE7 (PS Plus games). What else would folks recommend for PSVR1 that didn’t get moved over to PSVR2?

If you have people to play with IRL then Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is great fun.

Not sure if anything changed since World of Assassination but any version of the Hitman trilogy would get you the VR levels for Hitman 1, 2, & 3. Can be a little janky at times but a fun way to play it. I also really liked the Borderlands 2 PSVR1 conversion, and besides draw distance it looks pretty good.
