the starbucks at my college's library has a smacking chocolate chip cookie in their bakery section. only like $2-3. (i think i eat too many chocolate chip cookies.)

There used to be an old lady at Ohio Renfest who sold oversized chocolate chip cookies. She dressed the part of an old crone and often wandered the aisleways at the performance stages calling out "Troll cookies here, chocolate chip cookies!" Those six words are the only ones I ever heard her say over the course of, heck, probably at least fifteen years. I think I bought one a couple of times and they were quite good as one would expect. I can't even say for sure whether she made the cookies herself or merely distributed them. Nevertheless, she was a small but real icon of the festival. It's safe to say that, at best, the job because too physically demanding for her. Renfest cookie lady, wherever you are, I hope you're still rocking those cookies and that you're receiving as much joy as you brought |

I have had many variations on chocolate chip cookies and so many of them were amazing but I can't recall liking any of them more than the ones from the recipe on the back of the bag of chocolate chips, warm from the oven. nostalgia I guess.

rumi's cookie period was weird but honestly just as wonderful as his other works also i don't know if this is true but i really like the origin story of the chocolate chip cookie that i have heard which is this: a woman wanted to make chocolate cookies, so she took a chocolate bar and smashed it into small pieces and mixed it in, thinking the chocolate would melt during baking and make the whole thing chocolate, but found nope, they kept shape, and gave a lil nibble and THE REST IS HISTORY
