Posting question as a poll and as a question for my phone posters! Is it: a) when you dream it, you do it. Anytime is good for posting (phone posting ftw) b) I post when I get home from work/school/prison/band practice c) I post thrad on the weekend, prime posting time baby d) let chaos reign, you post threads only at midnight of a blood moon (or at another time appropriate for your faith or culture)

it’s usually when i think of it if i can write a decent OP for it but there’s some times when i think of an idea for a thread but i can’t come up with a good OP and i wait a bit or don’t end up posting it

basically either an idea strikes me suddenly and i immediately post a thread, or it's been something i've been pondering for a little while and when i have the angles worked out i post the thread. it'd be interesting to see stats of the hours i most frequently post a thread but i bet it is between the hours of 3-11pm my time generally. i'll wake up and make a post but i am usually not awake enough to formulate a thread at that point.

I dont post threads because my threads are objectively worse than my posts, and my posts, phew! But also even if i wanted to post a thread i couldnt because the Awful app does not support that functionality

I think of thread ideas often but I only have the balls/fortitude 2 make em when I'm trashed. since I only drink at night this means most of em are made at around midnight  the next day I wake up, check the thread and only then, in the sober light of day do I realize it's a terrible thread idea or occasionally brilliant! |
