Yeah, I mean aside from the fact that it's bonkers to pit a low level character up against liches and stuff, 5 minutes of preparation getting an "open" spell of some kind would have saved a lot of trouble.

 Extra 2 - Daggerfall (DOS) - Potion Mixing and Shopping  Episode 51 - Daggerfall (DOS) - Tracking the Emperor's Letter Bit of a double header this time. The potion mixing / shopping episode is just that and pretty much nothing else, as I recall. In other words you can skip it if you're not interested in that stuff. We'll do more alchemy here and there as time goes on.

I played this game so much when my brother and I were kids back in the nineties on our old 486. I have two things to say about this game. "gently caress you I love you." Just wanted to say thanks for doing this. This is a tough beast to take on especially playing the originally jank. I am most of the way through the videos so I will be caught up to the most recent video soon. I also wanted to say that random skills is cool as hell. Never thought of doing that as a kid.

Glad you're enjoying it. I've been busy, but the plan is to have a new video up in a couple days. Also, playing the game on a 486 sounds like it might be a bit rough. I have one, but I'm not sure it has enough hard drive space for a full install haha. Might be a fun experiment though, just to see how it plays.
