I tried to download Hive Social for my PC a while ago because I thought that could replace twitter. But it turns out it only works on phones, so I guess that was a dead end. Twitter sucks, but idk that there is a viable replacement for it either that fills the same niche.

I don't care how bad Twitter is as long as other people are finding the tweets to post for me in C-SPAM. Twitter has always been extremely poo poo to actually browse. It's difficult (impossible?) to even do something as simple as "view all tweets by this person" since it seems to always include retweets/quote-tweets. Maybe there's a way around this, but it's not obvious or intuitive.
