Obviously Lucy is a "democratic socialist" demagogue. She dangles the false promise of change within the bourgeois "democratic" system (the football) in front of Charlie Brown (the working class), and time after time she pulls it away before he can kick it, leaving him to fall on his rear end like an idiot. This repeats over and over, with Charlie never seemingly never learning his lesson. Snoopy, on the other hand, is the western communist. He spends his time sleeping and playing at fighting the Red Baron, which symbolizes spending one's time sleeping and playing Paradox map games.
