I have a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra refusing to turn on. Last night, I plugged it in at the exact moment it started to shut down due to lack of battery. Now the screen is black, but it vibrates when I plug it in. I unplugged it and plugged it back in long enough to charge the battery, but the phone still won't boot. I've read that this can be caused by the software crashing, and that one possible solution is to wait for the battery to discharge, charge it, and then boot the phone, but if the battery is fully charged that would take weeks. It's out of warranty. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting it to turn on again?

I'd try all these options: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5ReTeKJ240

Zogo posted:I'd try all these options: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5ReTeKJ240 I tried those except the freezer, because I don't want to risk condensation inside the phone. Everyone in the comments with my exact problems says that it resolved after the battery drained and they recharged the phone. Too bad this model doesn't have a removable battery.

After leaving the phone in a drawer for a month, I plugged it in to its charger for an hour, and then connected it to my desktop PC, and it booted up and works perfectly now. I had already bought a Motorola Edge to replace it, so now I have two phones for the moment.
