Typically if you put hands on a South Korean citizen they either fine you (and it's something like thousands of US dollars) and a field grade article 15, OR you get to experience the majestic Korean prison system, then brought up on charges for desertion because you were in jail and couldn't tmake it to formation. Either way it's a bad look and exactly why the US military is about to make an example of this loser.
