Jazz haters hit the road. We're talking the good stuff here. A Love Supreme, Spain, Malagueña, Giant Steps, Take Five just make up a few of my favorites. I've played and listened to jazz for about 20 years now and I still feel like I've barely scratched the surface of what's out there. I was thinking today, I think Josef Zawinul is so under rated. Mercy Mercy Mercy is just at the right tempo and the melody slaps hard. He wrote for/with some of the most famous musicians of all time. Weather Report was legendary. But I feel like people almost never mention him when the best jazz musicians are discussed. Who do YOU think is under rated?

I suck ONE DICK and i'm out of breath for like 20 minutes  .

I accidentally bounced off Jazz when I was young because I was flipping through stuff in the record store and thought, "Hmm, what's a good intro to Jazz? Something really simple, that even a layman like myself can understand. How about... Jazz is very cool and good. When I was a youngin I had the misfortune of listening to people who considered anything that wasn't boomer or pre-boomer rock bad, and therefore jazz was just noise. Now I'm older and make music and have it as my lovely little obsession I've grown to adore jazz, along with a lot of other music I don't think I'd have allowed myself to listen to when I was younger. I think the funniest jazz or jazz related music I listen to would be SEATBELTS, specifically the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack. Why is it funny? I have never seen the show, and for ages I didn't even realise a bunch of the songs I was listening to was even for a soundtrack lol. I still haven't seen the show but the album is a banger
