We carve pumpkins each year. I will show you the evolution of my craft. 2019 - thus begins a tradition: 2020 - a continuation and slight improvement of my craft: 2021 - an experiment gone awry - they were meant to be veins but they look more like arms: 2022 - last year I found the perfect canvas but the lighting needs work: Show me your pumpkins.

Wow, some awesome pumpkins itt! I've never carved a pumpkin, since that's something pretty recent around here, so I can only contribute with this drawing of a jolly pumpkin head instead. Hope that's ok.
When you are the moon, there is a person people say is the sun. I saw the sun once, and he came past me, really fast. And it was an, it was called, the, an eclipse. And he came fast! But as he came past, I, I licked his back.

Thread peaked too soon imo Did this one last year, first time doing something more involved than cutting three holes and calling it a day: Would like to do a turnip this year, like the traditional jack o' lanterns of my yoof, but it's impossible to find a decent-sized one!

Here's one I did a couple of years ago using a random bat-shape I found online as a stencil. It came out pretty good!

A couple old ones I liked, making heavy use of toothpicks and skewers: It's supposed to be a lion, with the light from the back being its mane. A rat. I don't have the angle of it, but the pumpkin stem made the tail.

My son asked for an Ink Bendy jack-o-lantern. I usually just go for some triangles and rectangle teeth so this is def the most effort I've put into a carving but I think it turned out well

My employer announced a pumpkin carving contest during my days off so even though entries are due tomorrow I’m just now finding out about it. Top prize is an ipad plus some free PTO. I’m about to gently caress this contest up when I get off of work tonight and someone is getting an ipad for Christmas.
