well the XFL(2001) ran for a single season. then the XFL(2018) started playing in 2020 and after 5 weeks cancelled the rest of the games because of covid and went bankrupt. the XFL(2020) played a single season in 2023. the current XFL, now called the UFL, has yet to start its first season. so in the span of 21 years the XFL has completed 2.5 seasons
