Problem description: My webcam died between meetings, and the ol' unlpug/replug didn't work, so I tried rebooting. I run Fedora/KDE and as the reboot was happening, it threw an error that I didn't fully catch, but read something about "HUB 1" having a problem. After rebooting, nothing along the row of USB ports I had my webcam plugged into worked at all. Anything I plugged in there, including my mouse, didn't receive a signal and the OS wouldn't pick up on anything as being plugged in there. I booted into Windows and had the same problem. I even went into the bios and it wouldn't pick up anything from that hub. Attempted fixes: Tried rebooting and some googling, but nothing helpful came up. Recent changes: Just rebooted after the webcam stopped working. -- Operating system: Fedora 39 - 6.6.11-200.fc39.x86_64 (64-bit) and Windows 10, whatever the gently caress version it is.
