i made some tea and it's really good. now you can make it too

INGREDIENTS:
a few inches of peeled, diced ginger root
a quarter lemon
a cup of sugar (to taste)
3/4 gal water

INSTRUCTION:
put it all in a pitcher and mix it up and put it in your fridge for a couple hours and then drink it. if you strain it then the stuff will stay in the pitcher and keep steeping

Tarkhun:
3/4c white sugar
1/2c water
1c fresh tarragon
1 tsp aniseed
1 tbsp lemon zest
1/8 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1/2c ice
1/4c lemon juice
seltzer water

simmer water and sugar until dissolved
add tarragon, aniseed, lemon zest, baking soda, and salt
boil 1 minute then cool 5 minutes
blend with 1/2c ice until smooth
strain and refrigerate, then add lemon juice
pour syrup over ice and add seltzer
