The massive round glasses used to completely cover huge anime eyes will always make me laugh, especially when they have to be even more massive for full coverage of 90s eye styles. I just watched Gosick and Cecile was always funny whenever she was on screen, and made me think it feels like they just don't show up as much any more. I like that the mc in nagatoro does that, stops wearing glasses halfway through the series, but still has the tic of pushing up his glasses even though there's nothing there
