one thing i like or at least got used to in windows was opening a directory and all of the subdirectories are sorted and displayed first and then files follow. i dont like it when its pure alphabetization and files and folders are interspersed with one another.

i like using various ls flags to sort my files op. but in this busy modern world, sometimes tools like fzf, zoxide, and alfred are helpful to find just that special file i’m looking for

All of work's part numbers start with a numeric project code and it's fascinating watching different software gently caress up sorting them I know it starts with a larger digit but '20' does not come after '1000' argh
