Lena Headey was a bad rear end Sarah Connor. I wonder if watching the show for the first time after her role in GoT will change opinions.

She’s also great as the villain in the Karl Urban Judge Dredd movie.

She was awesome in that too, but that role is much closer to Cersei in terms of character.

You can't pull rank on murder.

It's funny Cersei and Daenerys both plates Sarah Conner

Yeah, I was really hoping they would have found a way to get Linda Hamilton in there somehow.

Fringe has a lot of pseudoscience/tech-mumbo-jumbo bullshit similar to stuff like X-Files but it sorts of gets away with it because (end of season 1 spoilers) there is an alternate universe that is more advanced than ours and certain people have been stealing tech from it

The first season takes a while to find its footing and has a Lost/X-Files kind of mystery that pretty much gets completely abandoned but I thought it was a really entertaining show. John Noble is consistently awesome, Anna Torv plays multiple characters that are all convincingly different and there is also a musical episode that is a) not poo poo b) surprisingly heartwarming and c) involves a main character consuming large amounts of drugs.

Yes, aside from a very boring subplot halfway through season 2, but it’s worth powering through it to get to the end.

Despite this, it is actually quite good.

it's so 9/11-brained that they basically reverse her character in t2 who absolutely can and does picture judgement day nonstop in her busted mind palace say in the voiceover no, viewer, actually a million times fewer people dying on 9/11 was the real judgement day

so many writers' rooms got hosed up by that poo poo. loving star trek of all things had to put a 9/11 in every movie and tv series for like a decade and half

I didn't believe it at first. That's too insane. But that really is Shirley Mason of Garbage who, according to a memory my teenage mind decided to save for later, has a piss fetish. Like I distinctly remember her talking about it in an interview that was on normal TV.

I have the same memory about Ms. Manson, but from an interview in Kerrang! magazine from the 90s, something like: her ideal man should find her pissing on his cornflakes a turn-on.

Surely many non-piss-freaks would’ve objected to that point in the script anyway.

Mine was a tv interview where she said she liked to pee in her boyfriend's bellybutton. I think it's the Scottish accent on bellybutton that must have really ingrained it into my brain.

Share the first time you were exposed to a Shirley Mason interview as a child.

TSCC was really good about delivering impactful scenes on very low budgets. This one for example. It's an end of season 1 spoiler, so be advised.

The best part is it conveys exactly what happened exactly as well and much more memorably that it would a big slickly edited and choreographed set piece gunfight with squibs and pyro ten times the shooting schedule and budget, as evidenced by the fact that were talking about it 15 years later.

Sometimes constraints breed creativity, like "we don't have the budget to shoot and edit the action-packed HRT raid scene that's in the script." I'd be interested in an oral history/commentary on this scene from the production dudes.

Those memory cells are permanently occupied by the captain eo show at Disney, I guess
