Main event went as expected. I like Alex kind of asking for Tom, because nobody else is there for Tom to fight. Alex also asking if Izzy wanted him at 205, too. Dude just wants to fight good fighters. I like that.

I have a question about max’s post fight interview. When he was calling out topirua. He said something along the lines of “I’ll fight you here, I’ll fight you there, I’ll even fight you in israel” then the microphone cuts out. I was in a crowded bar so I could quite pick it

Him going 0-3 against Alex Volkanovski shows just how good Alex is, who is another generational athlete, and Dustin himself is a perennial feature at the top of every division he's fought in. Featherweight has just been ridiculously blessed with athletes who are absolute monsters. The lineage of champions they've had there is the best of any division in the sport at any point in history. Didn't see the Weili/Yan fight only a choppy clip of the choke. I saw some people saying you could ALSO argue Weili got a TKO inbetween the sub and the decision?

It's impossible to say what is going through somebody's mind of course (though I suspect it was this moments after the 1st round ended), but once they got her into her corner she looked for all the world like she thought the fight was over and she'd lost and they were about to explain what happened to her before she could go back to the locker room. Then they told her to get back out there and fight some more! And she did! And she did pretty good!

Well in the second round Yan was getting her rear end beat while back mounted so bad that basically everyone watching was screaming at the ref to stop the fight. And then she almost got choked out again but with an arm triangle this time.
