At least we get that sweet shift diff. Which is less than a 5% bump for even our lowest paid technicians, good thing it's not tied to any physical or mental health problems.

Lol my last shift diff was $1.75/hour, my health insurance was grandfathered in a plan where I paid $28/mo single, the first plan I was paying into at my last job was the same loving one but >$100/mo (before they dropped us for OSHA recordables lmao), and I was so depressed when that plant shut down because that's all gone forever, dust in the wind.

24 hour walmart saved my rear end one time literally when i had work the next day and couldnt sleep due to uhh butt parasites. where else could you go for reeses pinworm medicine at 3 am? my car died in the parking lot so it wasnt a total win. that was a fun one to explain to my dad.
