red delicious apples are the prankest of fruits. they are not especially delicious. they're dumb apples to give to kids because they dont know any better. the only apples id take them over is macintosh apples because yuck, mushy awfulness.

Thought I didn't like papaya for years until an old Hawaiian man at a farmers market basically force-fed me some while browsing. poo poo was awesome. Before I thought it just tasted bland at best, like cheap shampoo at worst. This stuff was like a super sweet melon with a softer texture. Bought one on the spot.

A while back I read an article about some place in pakistan having really exceptional mangoes even amongst pakistani mangoes, which are known to be great. and they described it so well that i was idly imagining if it would be possible to relocate there.
