Fats posted:Holy god. :fappery: http://www.sohc4.us/forums/index.php?topic=13742.0 This is a pretty similar bike. This bike is a '78 Cb750F with a cb900rr front end and cb600f3 rear end and wheels. The rear brakes probably wouldn't be that hard as the rear swingarm is replaced so all that needs done it to find away to mount the rear master cyclinder and lever. I don't know if that's what the bike in this thread had done to it but it's pretty similar.

The new MV Agusta was supposed to be called Cagiva F4 but then Cagiva bought the MV Agusta name and decided to raise the new bike's profile by using the legendary name. Cagiva used to own Ducati before it was sold to a US investor in '96(? Texas Pacific Group iirc). Cagiva Mito Evo == Ducati 916 for the 125cc market, Cagiva Planet == Cagiva Raptor 125 == Ducati Monster for the 125cc market. Both Cagivas have been in production for a decade. This is a 1960's MX race. The quality is a little lovely, but its amazing how fast those bikes are, given the technology, suspension and brakes available at the time. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3937192105627763529&hl=en

The bike culture in Japan is... really interesting. Here's one I found last week in Shinjuku (Tokyo): at least it's a comfy ride: I'll try to take more pictures of stuff you wouldn't see in the States. One thing I might be able to get a shot of is people riding Honda's "Monkey" series as though they are regular bikes. The 50cc pocketbike Monkey and the larger (125?) Ape are both really popular, and street-legal to boot. I see people hunched over and zipping around on them all the time, sometimes in a full suit headed to work. Several months back some goon posted a bunch of shots of a bike he worked on from rusted-rear end frame to fully-finished, painted-up cruiser. I think it was one of the old v2/v3 mega pic threads, can't seem to find it anymore. It was a big cruiser with huge tires, rode kinda low. Not a chopper. I'd like to know what kind of bike it was. (or the pics would be even better if anyone has them)

I was getting some work done on my car the other day and saw this. I figured it might be of some interest here. I know very little about bikes, so this is mainly just what I was told. It's a Ducati 999S, with a few mods Titanium exhaust, titanium chain, carbon fiber accents.
