Not to bust your balls, but dry clutches are standard on all Duc superbikes and most of the rest of their lineup as well.

Nice bike for the most part tho'.

I looked around the Ducati site after Iroc's post to see the difference between the R and S, and I noticed that. Like I said, I know next to nothing about bikes.

Actually, it was only because of the thread you posted a while ago when you were looking for/bought one that I knew the 999 was something special.

I had a Veteran's charity ride earlier today. Obviously geared a bit more towards cruisers but it was for a good cause (donating stuff for veterans) so I came out.

I was under the impression that regular, stock street bikes could get 185. I would have guessed that these bikes were modified and could hit speeds closer to MotoGP bikes.

A 600 won't be getting anywhere near that. Certainly not any 750s. Maybe some of the newer 1000s derestricted and modded but it looks like the only stock bikes are Hayabusa and the ZX14

Aren't the bikes in the video literbikes? My internet is screwy and I can't see the video, so I can't check for myself. I know 600s top out closer to around 150-160.

lolling. sv650 has a pretty cool sound, though. that's one thing i don't like about my old boxer, it has a very un-motorbike-like sound, just a mild rrrrr thing. it actually sounds far cooler if one cylinder stops firing so you get a more punchy ptptptptptpt tune. except then it can't really go uphill.
