That XL70 is awesome. I bet it would make an excellent commuter bike.

I love sidecar racing. When they go around tight turns with the passenger leaning all the way out and almost touching the ground, it looks like a lot of fun.

Speaking of sidecars, I saw a shiny new Ural driving around near my parents' neighborhood last weekend. It was awesome.

It has entered my mind on more than one occasion, but as much as I'd love a supermoto, I already have a mini supermoto and streetbike, so this is gonna be my dirt/dune machine.

Regardless, it picks up the front end in any gear off hard acceleration, and I can ride a 4th gear clutch up for miles haha.

The 426 doesn't make a good motard, but it's one heck of a nice playbike for any other purpose.

This big tired thing has been parked in front of the apartments since I moved in a few months ago. Since then, it's been ridden maybe twice :( :

Yay Japan, weird little bikes everywhere. With all the SV650 talk lately I was hoping to run across an SV400 again today so I could put up some pictures of it.

More faggy scooter paintjobs.

You see guys on the 110cc scooters pulling these trailers all the time, i saw one towing a jetski and a banana boat on 2 trailers, this was the only sportbike i saw on trailer duty though

You don't have to make excuses for the M50. It's a great bike!

Thats drat impressive IF and only IF the water is more than 2 feet deep. Its tough to tell if he is just driving through shallow water really fast, or actually hydroplaning over deep stuff.

I've seen the video before. IIRC it's a CR500, and it is "deep" water. If you watch the back end of the bike you can see it bobbing around. It's not the first I've heard of this trick either. When I asked about it on a CR500 board the answer was that it just takes commitment, if you roll off the throttle at all, you sink.

I don't really know how that stuff works but it seems really unlikely that water is more than half a foot deep.

If he's not touching bottom, it doesn't matter how deep it is. It's just as impressive if it's 20' or 6". The story I heard was that it's 9'. It's the exact same thing that the quad people do, or the snowmobile people do.

That water's not more than 8 inches deep, he's just riding in a field with standing water from a few days of rain. My backyard with lovely drainage looks like that right now, and the water's not more than 4" deep anywhere.

You know it's really not *that* hard to hydroplane with a dirtbike over deep water....fast speed + big skid plate = gliding right over it.

People do it with snowboards and snowmobiles all the time, this is no different. Just because yours isnt deeper than 4" doesnt mean this is the exact same case as you.
