I think this was a documentary. Could have been a mockumentary though. A video crew follows a guy around Austin, Texas (I believe) as he goes to an appointment to get shot (the ultimate goal being a gunshot scar.) Starts off with the guy (who kinda looks like Mark Lanegan of the Screaming Trees/Queens of the Stone Age) driving (he's got an old car, like a 60's covertable Impala) to the place where he's gonna get shot. He's whining about how his childhood sucked, talks about how the gunshot wound is gonna represent his pain from growing up, bla bla bla. He gets to the garage where the shooter is set up, the crew interviews the shooter. He says he's done this before, but by the way he's acting it seems like it may be his first time shooting someone. Very creepy dude trying to act professional. Shooter shoots the douchebag, who then gets in the ambulance waiting for him outside the door. Film ends. Saw it on the documentary channel here in Canada. A friend saw it too and thinks it's called 'Dementia'. But I haven't been able to find anything on it.

This was a black and white movie about a little girl who kills someone another kid on a school picnic. She also does all sorts of other evil things. I seem to recall one of the families had the last name Wasp and the little girl's parents (or maybe only one of the parents) tried to poison her in her sleep. I seem to recall the ending being of lightning and a tombstone.

I need help on this one.... Basically it's about a man who lives on a farm and is getting married. He travels to a city (Detroit) I think and buys a Lamborghini. Some how or another he gets a lovely Lamborghini that breaks down in an intersection with a car full of hot girls laughing at him. Basically I remember that scene and the scene where he is designing his car and I believe he choses the color red... Saw its many years ago on HBO I think. Any ideas.

I saw a trailer for a horror movie a couple years ago or so. It was a pan on a beach covered with those things that stop tanks. Then there were a bunch of these weird zombie kinda things wearing gasmasks getting up. That's all I remember.

I have two. The first is a comedy. When I was very young, I saw a movie on TV very late at night. In this movie, a family lived in a city or suburb, and all were pretty happy, except for the dad, who was kind of frustrated with living in civilization. He mentions some friend or neighbor who moved into the sticks when green goo came up through his drain. He says he'd move out if this happened, and then the next shot shows it happening. They move into the mountains, and the movie is mostly their adventures trying to adjust to living there. They have some distant neighbors who are survivalist nuts, and give the dad a tour of their bunker that has lots of food, lots of provisions, and waterbeds that have a nozzle so you can drink from it if other water stores are exhausted. The neighbors are assholes, too. Towards the end of the movie, there is a really bad storm, and the main characters' house is the only one that doesn't get flooded. All of the neighbors, including the rear end in a top hat survivalist ones, show up for shelter, usually bringing with them animals and such. The mom of the family recognizes one of the chickens that the survivalist rear end in a top hat brought with him, which proves he stole some of their chickens. I believe the movie ends with the family moving back to civilization. The second is a kids' movie, and I swear it was called RC or Remote Control or something, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I watched it as a kid, and I'm pretty sure it was a direct to video movie. It also was from the early 90's, I think. I don't think it was old enough to be from the 80's. It involved a kid and his best friend who was a girl. They are both into remote control cars, planes, and stuff like that. The kid and this girl are friends, but of course they also almost kiss all the time. Anyway, the kid has a ton of remote control stuff, the most unique of which is a yodeling doll called Gunter or Gunther that can slide up and down a cable and grab things. A group of three bumbling bad guys are on the lamb, and they hide out in this model house, but they have to put packs of cigarettes on the floor because the house is rigged with alarms to keep out intruders. The kid uses the attic of this same house to stash some of his remote control stuff (his mom might have wanted him to get rid of them because of his grades or something, I don't remember) and winds up getting trapped in there when the bad guys show up. He uses his remote control toys for various things, while foiling the bad guys. Eventually he gets out, the bad guys get busted, and his best friend and him hook up. Memorable scenes : The kid using the yodeling doll to steal cheetos from the bad guys. The kid and the girl in the attic, flying or racing RC airplanes, and they almost kiss, but then the kid realizes that the planes are about to go out of range. They turn them around, and the kid says "Whew...we almost lost control there." I believe the kid had a black kid for a best friend, and this kid wore really baggy shorts. I remember this because the video had some "special features" after it where the black kid talks about how he hopes baggy shorts will become the fashion. There is a scene where the bad guys try to grab this kid, and he rides his bike away, and you can see where he had to tie a shoelace around these shorts so they wouldn't get caught in his bike chain. The box of the video had the title, and then under it said "The only movie where the kid beats the bad guys and gets the girl!" which I thought was ridiculous, even at my young age, because that's how most movies end. The cover also had, unless I'm mistaken, a picture of the kid on top of a house, with an RC controller held high. Any help would be appreciated, I'd like to watch these two again for nostalgia purposes. PonchtheJedi fucked around with this message at 07:41 on Feb 6, 2007 |

I believe that both of the movies I'm looking for are either 80s or early 90s comedies. if they aren't both the same movie... 1. One actor (I think it might be Chevy Chase) is a writer and he and his wife move out to the country so he can....write his novel in peace. Unfortunatly, not everything is perfect and it has some slapstick moments...and then the wife writes ans gets a childrens book PUBLISHED. Also, the mailman drives past their house at about 60+MPH, throws the mail out the window and laughs everytime. At the end, they try to sell the house, and they make everything all nice and perfect and they offer all the people in the town $5 to act normal, and in the end they decide that they want to stay. 2. I can't remember much about the other movie, but it's along the lines of "family buys house, relatives move in". I think theres a part where one ofe the relatives is living upstairs and they're practically in a full body cast (or their body is up in a sling?) the one part I remember clearly, is that the aunts cat KEPT ON DYING and coming back to life. They even buried it at one point and then it came back and everyone was wondering what the hell. Now that I think about it, these are two seperate movies. my sister posted:It's starring Kirstie Alley and John Laroquette. First the cousins come(married couple, wife is preg), then the sister comes(after she gets an allowance cut from her husband "Kadir" to 10k per week), then they burn down the family's house next door(the car salesman who likes power tools, the son who's into creepy crawleys, and the daughter who loves talking on the phone) and they come live with them too. If I'm not mistaken, the name of the movie is "House Guests". Looks like I got the 2nd one too. Farts fucked around with this message at 17:35 on Feb 6, 2007 |

There was some kind of direct to video cartoon movie thing as a promotion for a toy line. It was like characters that existed as data in the computer world all came out of the floppy drive and changed everyday objects into crap they could hide in and fight with. Like a soccer ball opened up to become a cannon... Any ideas?

Okay, I saw this on television in the early 90s. In the movie, there is a kid who decides to run away from his unhappy home. He straps some wood extensions to his feet and steals the red family convertible. At some point in the movie, he becomes obsessed with finding the final letter in a lotto-like contest so that he can win big money. In the end, he finds the final letter and is booted out of the building with nothing when he tries to claim the money because he isn't 18. At some point, bikers remove one of his eyes and he spends a good chunk of the movie with a black eye patch. Any guesses?

I'm sorry if these two have been done already but here goes nothing: The first one was a really campy "horror" film I saw on UPN when I was a wee-lad. Probably 80's to early 90'sI remember an old decrepit family headed by, I think, was an old Judge, a really fat daughter that the Judge tried to hook up with the protagonist, and a bunch of youngsters that were senteced to a rollercoaster that led to some sort of death machine that shot out all of their bones at a bulls-eye. I distinctly remember the death-rollercoaster. The second was a film (same time period) where dismembered hands start attacking people. The protagonist actualy fights his own hand off from choking him. It isn't "Idle Hands." Mike N Eich fucked around with this message at 10:37 on Feb 9, 2007 |

What is the name of this crime/action movie that begins at a football game, where the running back takes out a gun and shoots the defender in the middle of the field? I don't know if that's the main plot because the movie switches to another story after that opening scene, but I'm sure it's important! It's a gritty-looking 80's (possibly late 70's) movie.
