The Uncle Muscles Hours' are definitely top shelf. The first episode had the best one because it was the perfect mix of visuals and awkwardness. The grunts of consternation after the music skipped were crazy brilliant. There are a bunch on youtube, including http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIMsTnSgLEA which is them live on that G4 show and a short interview afterwards where the old man who played Tim's fake dad is speaking for themScoobi posted:"LOVE YA STEVE" "LOVE YA MIKE"

This thread seemed to me to be about the show, so I don't think I'm out of bounds to state my negative opinion of the show. It's just annoying to people who enjoy the show when you post stuff like that. Babylonian posted:To all of you wondering whether or not that was just some crazy black guy: no. I want to get an avatar of something from either this show or Saul, as I'm getting tired of my current one (can't let the people in the Metalocalypse thread know about that ). I just can't decide what to get. Maybe Dr. Steve Brule?

Plus my boyfriend and I were dumb and didn't stop to think if it was doors open at 8 or show at 8 so we got there at 7:00 and waited in line by people who would not stop talking about ninja turtles and by some kids who thought they were real cool by sneaking gulps of booze like no one noticed. My boyfriend nudged me and said "these are the people you govern." Please tell me they are not. Please tell me you guys wouldn't talk about ninja turtles in line for ages. If by some freak chance that was someone here....THE SHAME! It got to a point where it wasn't even funny like nostalgia-talk irony funny but was just kind of weird. Oh yeah, I got that he's supposed to be terrible on purpose (you can tell right away from all the silly DJ DOUG POUNDDD IN THE MIX stuff he throws in and the jokes that go nowhere) but it still didn't do anything for me--- perhaps because I was right by the loving speaker on the left and he was so loud it hurt my ears the second he opened his mouth. But that's not really his fault, the speaker system there loving sucked. I don't mind stuff that's supposed to be bad on purpose most of the time (why else would I laugh at the Great Wall?) but this just didn't work, sorry.
