I just can't think of anything else.

i love birthday presents a friend gave me this (or one of these to be accurate) to mark my quarter of a century crisis. I actually play on it more than my other guitars because it plays so much differently. I would suggest that anyone stepping into the intermediate level of playing guitar that doesnt want to spend more than a few hundred on a guitar to get one of these because its great fun. Still wont compare to my previous post itt..

Since I purchased my own home and no longer live in an apartment this morning I'm finally ditching the world of electronic drumming and buying my first acoustic kit. I absolutely can not wait. Electronics are cool and all but man, I've just wanted the volume and sound of acoustic for years. Edit: Considering I have a good amount of money right now I almost considered buying the Tama Warlord Exotix series from Guitar Center. Only $6499! Unfortunately the finacee saw things differently and I'm buying something a bit more cost efficient. But how can you compare to this? Oh god, all that bubinga...Maybe I still will buy it. ZVEX Fuzz Probe, basically a fuzz factory with a theramin-type plate that you can tweak with your foot while playing. It's bigger than I thought it would be, so here's a comparison shot next to my trusty old MT-2. I've managed to create some awesome sounds with a little feedback or a harmonic, but I can't make it do anything interesting while I'm actually playing. Maybe I need a little more time with it. Overall I'd say it's probably not worth the extra cash over a Fuzz Factory, but I'm not going to trade it now I've got it.

Since money seems to be of little object to you, you should try and buy a set with floortoms and rack toms that just attach to a stand, as opposed to having the 3 legs for them. If you gig a lot, the legs get so loving annoying!

I just aquired a Casio(!) MG 510 from the 80's. It doubles as a MIDI controller, although the tracking is a little inaccurate. The guitar plays very well, apparently assembled in the Ibanez factory in Japan. I was skeptical until I pulled some elite google research and found a picture of Eric Johnson holding one. SOLD! I got an EMG 81/85 set today that I plan on getting put on my jackson rhoads tomorrow and im looking for a new disto/overdrive pedal because mine sucks. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I was looking at the Zakk Wylde overdrive but anything else would be cool (I play a range of music from ac/dc to megadeth etc, I play in a thrash metal band atm so something with a lot of bite while keeping the tone is what i'm after).

Electro Harmonix Metal Muff w/ Top Boots distortion pedal. Reallly good tone and sound and i fell in love with it after about 10 minutes of playing and testing other pedals. I think this will be my new perma-disto pedal from now on.

Latest finds: FMR Audio RNC1773 This little box is worth many times the two hundred it retails for. Coupled with an FMR RNLA (next on the shopping list) and an NCC-1701 rack tray, it makes up a 1U-sized compressor-expander combo. (picture has two RNCs mounted) T.Mix TX1002 In the price range of similar Behringer mixers but the sound isn't as wonky. I needed something to go between a pedal chain or synth and my audio interface, since the FA-66 is in my opinion way too oversensitive.
