The name doesn't sound familiar, and it seems like far too many people on imdb are taking this movie more seriously than they should, since I remember the movie being incredibly cheezy. Still how many movies like this can there be?

I only caught the second half of the movie. Near the end, do they try freezing the ghost in a box, or something like that?

That does sound like The Entity with Barbara Hershey & Ron Silver. I'm pretty sure they tried to freeze it in the end. Was there a bit with the ghost copping a feel, and you could see it's hand print on one of her breasts?

I'm fucking wild about KEYKEYs.
I am not so much looking for a movie but a Silly Symphony. It features a bunch of teenagers going on a date in the 50's. I know there is one scene in particular of a girl doing her hair/make-up in the mirror and her younger sister puts on lipstick and makeup and tries to stow away on the date. The two teenagers eventually go on their date at a local diner and dance around and share sodas and all that fun stuff.

Anyone know what I am talking about?

A man becomes preeminent, he's expected to have enthusiasms.

Enthusiasms, enthusiasms...
So there was this one movie synopsis I read about, it was about an English dude who lives with his mother and this French woman moves in next door, and he becomes obsessed with her, I think she played a musical instrument. Don't know how old

2nd Id, I think I saw this on premium cable, I'd say probably 80s, no earlier than 70s, no later than 90s. This kid is imagining he's fighting these sexy female vampires in this attic, I think they were wearing white. Anyway he's flashing a crucifix at them and they recoil, but then one throws a bag of flour or something at him and knocks his crucifix away, thus leaving him vulnerable. I think before they do him he wakes up

I'm sorry if this one has been posted before. It was a horror movie that I rented as a kid on vhs and it looked like it was made in the 70's/80's. It had to do with a killer who escaped from alcatraz and if memory serves correctly it cut to a few years in the future when alcatraz was shut down and they had tourists. The killer was hiding out there and he would go and kill all of the tourists. I'm pretty sure the killer's name was Frank _________. Anyone have any idea what the hell I'm talking about?

This is a tough one as I don't remember much about it other than it was very odd... it was a horror flick film probably from the 80s and seemed to revolved around some kids in an old house. The only thing I recall is an old lady in a rocking chair who was some sort of witch perhaps and I believe one of the kids tried attacking her with a baseball bat but he was flung across the room.

Yeah so that's all I have sorry.

This is a cheesy 80s sci-fi/action flick I saw like six or seven years ago. It takes place in some Terminator ripoff setting where human survivors battle it out against really tough robots across a postapocalyptic wasteland. The main character is a man from the present day who suddenly finds himself in the future and his wife in the present day happens to be a squadmate though she doesn't happen to be aware of their previous history for whatever reason. There's only one scene I can still clearly recall and in it they go through the whole "I could've sworn I've met you before and we were something more in another time" rigamarole and just when they're about to kiss a robot unconvincingly barges through the wall of the building they were hiding in. One of the details that's caught in my memory is that alot of the engagements between robots and humans occur at long ranges and each squad usually has a designated "flanker" that lags behind the rest and baits the robot. Ideas?

Anyways as I remember it was about a boy who is adopted by a wealthy couple. The couple sleep during the day and go out at night so the butler takes care of the kid. It turns out, the parents are actually vampires who intend on feeding on the kid. When the kid finds out, he freaks and makes a run for it. The butler tries to stop them and is killed. They chase the kid out into a forest place where it turns out he's actually a werewolf and then kills them.

I saw this movie on a premium cable movie channel a few years back. It had something to do with aliens coming to earth and harvesting humans to eat or maybe sell on their home planet. I think it was made in the late 90s. Also, the aliens looked like regular humans and I don't remember if they ever show them in their alien form. I remember one line from the movie: there were the organs of one of the characters displayed on a table or a counter and a guy character says something like "I've never seen a girl this naked before". I just watched The Program last night on On Demand. First time I've seen the movie since I saw it in the theater like 15 years ago or whatever.

Now I swear to god this movie had a scene in it where they all laid down in the middle of the freeway and watched the cars wizz by them. Well I watched the whole movie and this was not in there. Am I thinking of a different movie or did I maybe watch the edited for TV version or something? Do they even offer edited movies on On Demand?

Anyways next one is kinda vague.

Movie from the 80's or early 90's I saw as a kid. Only part I really remember is a uniformed police officer banging some girl in his squad car. No it wasnt a softcore porn or anything because the plot had something to do with the police officer being a bad guy. A homicidal mass murderer or something maybe even.

The Program is absolutely the movie where they lay down in the middle of a freeway. The scene was considered controversial because some idiot teenagers did it not too long after the movie came out so it's often removed even in "unedited" versions of the movie.

Not that "The Program" is a fantastic movie or anything. Im just curious if its possible to see the uncut. They are seriously burying that part of the movie forever?

Ok, I actually don't remember if this was a movie, a short clip or what, but I just remember watching it and it's creeping me out.

It starts like this, apparently, there is a small orphanage, in which the kids are forced to do hard labor by some pig headed men (this could be part of my imagination tho), but not only that, but the kids are tortured and raped. In one scene, the kids are praying for god to save them, and suddenly an angel appears. As soon as he lands, the pig men see him and kill him, but not before they rip out his wings and disembowel him alive.

That is all I remember, does it ring any bells?

This one was either late 80s or early-mid 90s. Saw it on tv, I believe it aired a couple times on sci-fi channel in its early inception. It was a desert-like post apoc earth and I think this guy with a chainmail-esque robotic arm brought a mechanical artifact from the desert to his girl who probably studies all this junk. I remember her place was dark and basically looked like a series of mini-storerooms. I recall in the commercial you would see his robothand going down the small of her back while they are in the shower together. Anyways, then somehow a giant killer robot gets into the plot.

Any ideas?

This is a real long shot, but could it be Pontiac Moon (1994) with Ted Danson? It's about a father and son taking a trip, but it doesn't sound like they're going to see a shuttle launch; rather they're going to some natural crater somewhere. It doens't fit exactly what you remember, but there's a road trip and a space connection, so I'll offer it up anyway, just in case.

There's a movie I saw a little bit of when I was a kid, and I've been wondering what it was for years now (keep in mind I saw this almost 15 years ago so some of my memory might not be correct). It was an independent (I think) movie about a guy who's a bit of a loser, and gets attacked by a vampire woman. Hoping he will turn into a vampire, he tries to act like one, with miserable results. In one scene he goes into a store that sells high priced vampire teeth, only to walk out with the cheap plastic kind kids wear at halloween. He ends up murdering a few people, trying to drink their blood, and gets scolded by the woman who attacked him, calling him "pathetic". In the end, he ends up begging a cop to plunge a stake into his chest.

Okay this is random as hell, but my girl and I have been wondering about it for a couple months. It's a movie about this kind of nerdy girl at a prep school in NY, and then she starts hanging out with the cool kids, etc, and she ends up going to a dance, getting drunk and getting like raped after the dance. She ends up going out to the woods with one of her friends, and they sneak out to a party. She leaves the party, and some guy follows her. She's running, trips, hits her head on a rock and dies. The boy doesn't know what to do and ends up running. This is just like a rough thing of the story, anyone know it? The cover is a girl in a schoolgirl skirt, I remember that's why we rented it.

I haven't seen this since I was very young. All I remember is a scene where a man is walking toward a redcoat-type soldier on a bridge. The soldier walks toward him. The man shoots/stabs/kills the soldier who then splits into two of himself. The man kills both of them, they then split into even more, etc. I know nothing else about this movie, except, knowing what I know about film these days, it has a sort of Terry Gilliam feel to it. Sound familiar?

I'm thinking of a movie about that came out maybe 10 years ago give or take a couple. All I can remember from it was it revolved around this space mission with a female astronaut who ends up visiting her dead (?) father on some planet. It turns out something went wrong at launch and instead of her spaceship going up, it fell down, but the mission clock or something still showed the time of her dream or whatever.

I saw this movie on a long flight so I was dozing in and out, but here's what I remember: the movie is set in Ireland (or maybe NI? I think the Troubles factored in somehow) and there's a guy wth a morrissey-like pomp who teaches at some private school. He goes to a protest (so maybe he's english and it's the coal miner strike but I might be thinking of Billy Elliot) and he gets on camera and says "look at what's happening! Look at what's happening here at [the mines? I dont know whatever he was protesting]!!!" so he goes back to school and starts teaching and some little kid says "Look! Look what's happening up at the blackboard!!!" and they all laugh. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
