Saukkis posted:Am I the only one who's never been able to appreciate a burnout against a brake? The only proper one would be straigh ahead when the tires simply can't handle all the power going through them. May be because of seeing videos of my friends doing burnouts on Toyota Yaris 1.5L. They hold the brake because it keeps the front wheels from rolling forward, so they can keep the car in place and not start taking off straight ahead from the burnout. You're thinking of doing a brake stand, which is holding the brake in and holding the gas down, then flooring the gas and letting go of the brake.

The Citroen Vs. Nurburg from 'related videos' in the IED page is pretty hairy. Impressive save from being caught short by the sharp elevation change, just before the first steep climbing corner. It's kind of hard to spot, looked like it came out of nowhere the first time round.

I think as the slide got to its worst he shat himself and stood on the brakes (as i wuuld in situ tbh). rear wheels not locked up on tarmacac and front wheels locked up on grass helped to spin him back round. otherwise howe the hell did he pull that back from 90 degees from disaster.

HAY GUYZ! It's a fast Tiburon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yofZIcTkCiw If you're wondering what the punchline to it is, skip right to the end for the most burnout ever. And to give a little love to the Euro twin engine crazies - a twin bike engine VW Polo, showing all those kids playing around with fast food trays how a FWD really drifts in style. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkqP0smO4H4 Finally, a little something for Diz (it shows up around halfway through the video), in fact both his previous project (albeit not the same year/series), and his current project are in here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSm-vmGBS3s

Ambient sounds are cool. If I get to hear the roar of your engine and tyres as you carreen through the cones, all the better. It's not a music video, for gently caress's sake.
