If we could finally adopt the practice of labelling our links appropriately, it would be much easier to check whether a video had been posted before. To answer your question: Yes, it has been posted.

I shall give you two positive examples:

Vitamin J posted:

and some vintage 427 action:

sniffthepanties posted:

BMW E30 M3 Group A Rally

Both have a brief description of the video without going into detail. The link is posted, along with a thumbnail (optional, but helpful).
It's not difficult to follow these easy steps:
1. Check: Has you video been posted before?
At the very least go through the first and the last two pages.
2. Verify: Is the video interesting enough to expose it to the SA Forums?
Hint: "HEY EVERYONE LOOK @ MY HOMIES PRACTICING DONUTS IN THE McDONALD PARKING LOT" probably is not.
3. Post: The link, a brief description, and a thumbnail if possible.
The description will allow others to have an idea what they're about to see and also to check themselves if it is the same video as the one they're about to post.
4. PROFIT!!!!!!!!!!111oneone

This is the singularly coolest promotional video for a car, ever. Not only is the car loving awesome (yay for aerodynamic design from the early to mid 20th century), but the video shows just how cool the car is by driving at rather illegal speeds on the freeway, in town, evading police, fording a river, and generally just hooning around. Plus, having an Audrey Hepburn clone for a passenger in the middle of a bench seat adds a fair bit to it.

Watch both parts and tell me you wouldn't buy that car just by virtue of that ad.

The angularity and the round headlights are what really do it for me, that's enough. And they were RWD, right?

In the US, we got BMWs and VWs with that look. That's pretty much it.

Anyhow, to post/pimp a video:

Yesterday, I went driving down one of my favorite desert trails (the one that doesn't chew up my tires or beat the hell out of the underside of my car) and took video on the way back. I did it in a few sections, including a little inside the car. I cut out most of the parts where I had to slow down or stop, and put in little snippets of me behind the wheel in between.

Wow, amazing. In communist Tseckoslovakia they advertised a state built car by showing people braking the law in it. Crazy stuff!

Now I really want an old Tatra. The Tatra had an air cooled rear mounted V8, had a basic structure that was copied for the VW bug (but obviously was much bigger) and some models had a double rear window, where the air for the engine was sucked in from between them.

Might be pretty hard to find one nowadays though :(

Is that chirp coming from the carbs?

Simkin

Nope, that's from the various bits associated with the turbo. I'm pretty sure that's the anti-lag system, only in one clip it makes the chirping sound, and in another it causes the stacatto bursts that sound like backfiring. No carbs were harmed in the production of this car.

Most straight sixes, unlike other engines, don't really have a identifying sound, instead, there is just one characteristic that you can class them together in; despite sounding relatively smooth, you would swear Satan himself is in there trying to escape.

The beauty behind an inline 6 is that with a little work, any one can sound great. For example, this crazy twin-turbo E34 engine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcosgFH5Fd4&feature=related

But here's one you wouldn't expect; here's a Jeep 4.6L Stroker (a 4.0L I6 with 4.2L I6 rods and crank). Skip to 1:40 in the video, unless you want to see a walk-around of the engine.
