There are two Integra Type-R's on Portland craigslist at the moment. The problem with the first one is that he's not paranoid enough: http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/car/590454409.htmlcraigslist posted:No test drives if I don't like the sound of things. And no, you will not meet me at my house. VIN will be given to serious buyers. I believe the second managed to blow up his engine at 10,000 miles and had it rebuilt. I bet this car has led a rough life (even though it only has 44k miles): http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/car/594047312.html craigslist posted:... forged pistons, Forged rods, Balanced crankshaft, Bored .020 over and resleeved. It includes an msd 6btm ignition, stock ecu (needs to be upgraded to the hondata), and a Jackson Racing Supercharger running 6lbs. of boost... They're both in the sub-$13,000 range and clean titled, so honestly not that bad. nanodroogie fucked around with this message at 00:52 on Mar 7, 2008 |

I would drive the gently caress out of that Superman car, plus i have the parts to fix it. I'd want to fit 24's with a different offset than it currently has because those wheels look off in the pictures. Price is completely crazy though.

I have a stupid craigslist question I didn't want to make a thread for. I put up a motorcycle as a trade for a dual sport and some guy is offering me a bunch of airline tickets and hotel stays to anywhere as a trade. I have no interest in this anyway, but even if I did, I assume it's some kind of scam. What is this guy's angle?

Craigslist sucks, I've not had a single offer for a trade but I've had a poo poo ton of people trying to lowball me with cash even though I didn't put a price on it because I want a trade. I think I'm just going to repost it with some ludicrous price like $1000 too high so when they try to lowball me they give the correct price. I assume that's what most of the sellers you are showing in this thread are doing. OMGWTFWALLHACK fucked around with this message at 22:24 on Mar 7, 2008 |

RARE BMW ONLY $16,500! http://halifax.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-Rare-BMW-convertible-W0QQAdIdZ36661930 Late 80's 3 series convertible, nothing really wrong with it at all, except for the INSANE price. But it was never driven in winter and has 2 (two!) sets of original factor BMW rims. I guess that justifies the price then

Bay Area shoppers, get your wallets out, NICEST CAR IN SAN JOSE is officially on the market. Choice snippets are: I bought this car from my 91 year old grandmother before she died about 4 years ago, "put a graphic stripe on the side of the car", This is a fully loaded 1988 Nissan stanza GXE with 75k original miles, Do not waste my time because there is not one car on the market that has been serviced and driven like this one that you can get in and drive for the next 5 years and take nothing out of your pocket to maintain it. No one drives like grandma drove. <100 HP of fury can be yours today for only 3200 bucks!

It's like they all dropped off the face of the earth. My mom had an '84, then an '87 which eventually became my sister's first car, and then she killed it. My dad had an '87 Maxima (that talked!) and I never see those either. Seeing this ad actually makes me a little nostalgic for my high school days (though our Stanzas were all silver).

Seeing this ad actually makes me a little nostalgic for my high school days (though our Stanzas were all silver). We're stockpiling them all on Vancouver Island. That price is retarded. No matter the condition, that car is not worth that - it's neither a performance car, nor a collectible, nor a Honda Civic. It's a truck engine in a Maxima chassis, so it's not even particularly sprightly. I sold my running, sub-200,000km 87 Maxima for 650$, and that was probably only about 350$ under the market around here.
