Why is the steering column all busted up? And everyone behind you will just think why the hell does this loving tahoe have a Cadillac emblem. The interior is at least 3-4 different colors/materials "The door handles inside aren't painted where the black is. Nor are the door gauges. Its easy to do and lets you customize it more" I didnt finish spray painting my interior so you can do that, btw 100k INVESTED!! He paid $4,000 for those wheels? Get out of here, I could buy a 96 tahoe in good condition for $4,000

streetlamp posted:He paid $4,000 for those wheels? Get out of here, I could buy a 96 tahoe in good condition for $4,000 Big shiny wheels cost a lot of money - $4k isn't too far out there. Of course, putting big shiny wheels on a Tahoe is loving stupid, even aside from "Escalade conversion" nonsense. If you really want to boggle over "he spent WHAT?" take a look at the "custom sub box." A thousand bucks for an MDF box with holes in it is pretty hilarious. Maybe he hired an engineer to design the system so it'd sound its best in that abortion of a truck - or, more likely, the buyer is an idiot. Also, the "passenger TV console" is $500. I could see that for a nice piece of interior trim, but it reminds me of a paper mache volcano for a third grade science fair.

nm posted:Uhm, what happens when the airbag goes? Doesn't look like there's a passenger airbag - pre-96 or so they had a flat shelf on the dashboard, which is what looks to be holding that TV. The ones with an airbag have kind of a hump where the little tray was. The hilarious part is that apparently the space between the between the hump and the windshield was the right size and shape so that if the passenger wasn't wearing his seatbelt during an accident, his head could get wedged into the gap. So GM had a recall and came up with an even bigger hump-piece that they would install on top of where the airbag was to plug up the gap.
