Get your standard suspension set up correctly for YOU by a reputable suspension specialist. I cannot stress the difference this will make to the rideability of your bike and the extra confidence it will give you.

I've actually talk to my mechanic about this because I've heard that the bike is setup for a person lighter than I. I'm 6ft. 194 lbs. He said bring it by the shop when I get back in town next week and he'll set it up correctly for me.

Im going to chime in here on the HIDs. Very useful modification for night riders. They output five times the light of a halogen, while consuming less current. I've got twin PIAA 510s halogen spotlights as well as a twin headlight HID setup. You can't say these are just for wankers / show offs. They are a practical mod for riding at night. I require as much light output as i can get for the high speed offroad riding i do at night, as well as night road riding on country roads that have many critters lurking. Not to mention they look cool.

He's got that thing over hard at a decent speed. His suspension is probably at or drat near full compression. One little ripple in the pavement and he bottoms and hopes the backend doesn't step out. It sits VERY up right without the bars locked left, and has been blown over before. Note the lack of mirrors; this is from it being blown over in my driveway. I start it, get off of it to walk inside and put on my gear and as I'm coming out it's laying on the ground with the mirror broken off all because the bars weren't locked to the left. I guess thats whats starter bikes are for though! Also it gave me the excuse to get some sweet ricey carbon fiber mirrors for 20 bucks off ebay.
