A fairly recent Italian movie, like in the past decade. The protagonist is a mysterious man who lives in a hotel, it is eventually revealed that he has some connections to the mafia relating to stolen cars, or perhaps something being smuggled in the cars. He falls in love with a girl who somehow gets in trouble with the mafia, and he sacrifices his life to save her (he is dunked by a crane into a vat of cement). Details may be fuzzy, I fell asleep in the middle but always wanted to watch it again.

Another one, this one even harder because I didn't see the movie, just read a brief description of it. Shortly after a man's daughter is murdered, he hosts a party for all of her friends. I might be mistaken, but I think the implication was either to figure out who killed her or to get revenge on the killer. The party was on board a boat.

I apologize if this has been posted already, I checked through but didn't see it. That and search being down. :(

What you remember seeing from the movie.
It was a live action move that was aimed towards early school age children who would be learning about colors. It focused on a character (part of me remembers this person as being very important) being rainbow colored, but had lost all her colors and was now pure white. The other leaders/people of the world had to band together to return the colors to the person.

Where you watched it.
I remember watching it in early elementary school, so most likely it was VHS.

About how long ago you saw it.
Probably about 15 years ago.

I do believe that's Wee Sing in Sillyville! Here it is on IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0383050

Actually, someone went so far as to upload it to Youtube in 11 parts -- here's the first part: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98QDqxo9K2s

I'd like the name of a Polish comedy that probably came out in the late 90's or early 00's. It's set in a future entirely populated by women (they grow babies in laboratories or something) -- I think quite a few of them are shirtless at various points. The plot follows two horny schmucks around as they try to figure out their surroundings and have sex with not-very-interested ladies. They're in a big compound type of thing and at some point they escape...A lot of the sets and scenarios are typical of "crazy future society" movies.

Anyway, if you're going to remember anything from the film it's probably the ending: A lingering close-up of a baby boy's genitals, accompanied by ominous music (I think)

Nothing I remember about this movie has helped me figure out the title.

I never actually saw this movie, just read a review that I can't seem to find any more.

Boston's Weekly Dig reviewed this Asian (Korean, I want to say) monster movie that was out in American theaters sometime in the past year or so. I don't remember much more about it, unfortunately. They were very positive about it. I seem to remember them saying it was fairly original and an innovative/different take on the concept.

Sorry, this is barely any info, but I'm hoping.

There was this movie I saw back in the late 80s. It had to do with these two cops (one is actually a alien) and they're tracking down this other small alien that goes into the mouths of people (and in a scene a dog) and controls them. The end has the alien finally shown to the public coming out of some politicians mouth and the alien cop blows it up with a laser, anyone know wtf it was called?

Film about vehicles coming alive and killing people, probably from the 80s. There's a bit where someone tries to hide in a barrel but gets smooshed anyway, and I seem to remember it taking place on a construction site of some kind, or at least a scene of it did.

The obvious answer would be Maximum Overdrive, but I don't think that's it. Any ideas?

I posted this in a similiar thread in GBS but to no avail.. maybe I get more lucky here:

All I remember is the opening of the movie, it's set in some medieval timeframe, it's a I think foggy battlefield, with lots of corpses dressed in chainmail/leather.
A bunch of looters are stalking around and one of the soldiers on the ground isn't death and starts coughing.
Well the looter impales the guy into the chest with his spear, causing the poor guy to spew blood and die.

It isn't Blood and flesh, Macbeth or Excalibur.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've been looking for this movie since years.

Oh it ran somewhere in the early 90s on TV.

This is probably impossible to identify, but my brain won't let it go until I can figure it out, so...

I remember going to a movie with my family around 1995-1999, definitely no earlier or later. I think it was a dramatic, period romance type movie (probably set in Italy or something), but I don't recall anything about it except the distinctive opening shot: a very, very closeup shot of red grapes growing on the vine. The shot lasted for a while, and I think the credits didn't begin until the camera panned away from the grapes, but I might be incorrect about that part.

The only reason I remember this so distinctly is because I sat next to a woman who loudly asked her group "What IS that? :downs: " over and over.

Also, just to narrow some more things down: I went to this movie as a kid, so it's very unlikely that it was subtitled, foreign, R-rated, etc., but it was still a movie geared towards adults.

I know this one is probably nearly impossible to identify, but I left my tv on one night and fell asleep on the couch, and half woke up at like three at the morning seeing the credits, and before I could really do anything else I fell back asleep.

Hopefully you guys can be of service to me. This is a movie that I've seen various times as a kid, yet I've never seen the beginning. Hence it never made any sense to me.

From what I do remember. It's about this guy who's chasing this monster or something. There's this one part where he's at a farm and checking a plane that the creature used and there's blood in it or something. He also takes pictures of the scenes. Well, the part I remember more vividly is near the end where the photographer is in an airport terminal, I think. It's filled with people, but I don't remember if they're dead yet. Anyway, the guy does into the bathroom to wash up and I think he runs into the monster and I don't really remember what happens next. A weird film in retrospect.
