That real wheel has toe out like its the wheels on an office chair. Jesus. I can't believe those windows aren't smashed as well. Those dents go right up to the window frame. I hope they were caused by the owners themselves running into this thing.

Looks like it's slid into more than its fair share of guard rails/jersey barriers. I don't know what else would do that besides a series of low-speed t-bone accients

"it has hit plenty of road barrels on the free way." You know, those big barrels full of water they put on offramps and road splits, so you hit them instead of going head on into a sharp triangle-shaped concrete wall. They managed to hit them. Sideways. Several times. Edit: the thing is, though? $350. If the actual frame is still intact, it's worth that. Hell, it probably has enough recyclable steel in it that it's worth that just for scrap.

I was checking out what was on Ebay today when my eyes glanced on this piece of absolute awesomeness... a 1970 MB 280SE convertible. Mint condition. I shall make it my life's goal to someday own that type of car and have a friend drive me around town just so I can sit up on the back seats and wave to random people. Almost $100k for a car that's a year older than I am might be a bit much, but drat that's a nice set of wheels.

Almost. What I mean is stuff like that, in imitation of another vehicle, seems to most often be done when the imitated vehicle is still on the market, and the person doing it cannot afford it. Also a lot of those cars are subject to emissions regs in CA. So you'd still want to remove them from CA. VideoTapir fucked around with this message at 02:11 on Nov 25, 2008 |

Q_res posted:You know, one of those with a Sky Redline driveline... Would be a drat-near impossibility because there's so little room under the hood for an engine larger in any dimension than the Opel 1.9 Trust me, you're not the first to want to engine-swap a GT, but it rarely works well. While this GT is certainly worth it, I'll be shocked if it sells north of $10k. The resale on a GT is hilariously low and there are so few in even "really good" condition, let alone absolutely spotless like this one, that the market has no idea how to price them.
