Another longshot. Here goes... This is a song used as the background music in commercials for Ion Television, if any of you can find it. It's kind of a hip-hoppish song with a female vocalist and a staccato pseudo-violin hook. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

This is pretty random. Anyway, a few years ago, Kanye West was on an MTV show where he was talking about his childhood and what he listened to while growing up. I remember him laying down and putting on headphones. It was like a look bad in his life. He talked about his grandmother and stuff a lot. Anyway, during this show, he talked about some of his influences. One of which was "Mass Appeal" by Gang Starr. If anyone remembers this, or can find a video of it, I am trying to remember what the other songs he mentioned were.

I have a music video and a few lyrics stuck in my head from something I must have seen in around 2000-2001. The video had lots of red, a theatrical setting, at least two main characters/singers, subtitles that displayed what the characters were silently saying and a reference to a 'Mauzer' or 'Mauser'. The lyrics are something stupid like "baaaaaby, baaaby" ".... .... it's too dangerous" "open your eyes while you're still asleep". I'm starting to believe this doesn't exist on the internet anymore.

So I've decided this is the best video on YouTube, and watch it pretty much everyday. This has the unfortunate side-effect of getting the song stuck in my head. Normally I would just pick out lyrics and google it to identify it, but I can't understand a goddamn word this guy is singing. Any help?

I was in Krakow, Poland for a few days last spring. One of these days while we were sitting in the Town Square at one of the restaurants a stage got set up and there was a big performance. I thought I had lost the video clips I had taken from it, but I found two of them today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khL-UYciQ4k http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAm9t36RyHI Does anyone have any idea who is performing this, or what it's called? edit: I looked up the date I recorded the clips and found it was for a 750th anniversary ceremony for Krakow. Apparently it's all one long cantana done by Piotr Rubik specifically for this occasion. It's called Zakochani w Krakowie. All the videos I can find of it are the same performance I saw, I can't seem to find anywhere to buy it on a CD or anything. Freeze fucked around with this message at 23:21 on Dec 20, 2008 |

I heard this on the radio at least a year ago, the chorus was something like "Yeah-ah" and the vocals sounded like White Zombie or the light area weather.

I have a copy of Ugly Cassanova's Sharpen Your Teeth, and it has Things I Don't Remember on it. I have another, much better version of the song on a mix CD that sounds like it's from the studio instead of live like Sharpen Your Teeth's version sounds. Where is this version from?

Does anyone know where this sports clap originated? Clap-clap-clapclapclap-clapclapclapclap-LET'S GO! Was it originally a song where the clapping went over the music? Or did it start as a cheerleading thing? Also, since I've witnessed confusion when talking about this particular clap, I'm not talking about the one that goes: "Let's go [team name], let's go clapclapclap"
