I hate the ultra stubby tailsection trend going on in the streetfighter scene. It looks horrible on every bike.

The Wormy Guy posted:That is sick. Have any more info on the bike? Nope, these pics got posted in a local motorcycle forum when talking about streetfighters. I agree the tail is gay but the rest of the bike is pretty hot. Judging by the tank, swingarm and engine it used to be a R1, that's all I can really gather.

Phat_Albert posted:I hate the ultra stubby tailsection trend going on in the streetfighter scene. It looks horrible on every bike. Yeah...I love the look of the front, and the way the suspension parts and such are on display, but the short look kills the back end of the bike. Also, CA plate, I bet that guy would get no end of poo poo from the cops...

Phat_Albert posted:I hate the ultra stubby tailsection trend going on in the streetfighter scene. It looks horrible on every bike. I, for one, absolutely love the look of a naked tire sticking out there. Bobbers are some of my favorite bikes. When you turn a bike into a street fighter and get rid of the fairings and such yet leave a modern looking tail it looks ridiculous. Bob that bitch. The bike is sick, and I would definitely do that had I gotten an SV instead of a GSX-R.

Man, that seat is so short it makes it look like it's got an extended swingarm. I really think the front end is well done, though.

A little trim can look nice. That much just looks weird. Plus it's only a matter of time until some bike hipster slides off his bobbed tail while stuntin' and gets smushed between the tire and the seat Edit: Like this Sloppy fucked around with this message at 15:45 on Jan 10, 2009 |

I dunno, I just cant get over the tail. They could have done alot with the stock subframe without using the stock plastics, but also without chopping it off at 8 inches, then getting a blind guy to wrap the seat. EDIT: I know thats the stock seat, but the wrinkly parts make it look bad.

Have to agree with not liking the tail section, but the front end more than makes up for it.
