I've heard this a million times and it's the most cliche bit of movie music I can possibly think of, but I'm suddenly at a loss to place this bit I heard the other night. Can anyone help me out?

Please PLEASE PLEASE tell me what the track is that starts at 13:12 on this video http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00hz3g2/Dragons_Den_23_02_2009/ I know it's quite far in but you can skip further ahead on the video. Thanks for any help.

So I worked in an Old Navy over Christmas break, and they used to play their own little O.N. playlist every single day, most of it being poop. Anyway, they also never say any information pertaining to the song, so if you heard a song you actually enjoyed, there was no way to find out what it was except for googling some lyrics. Which I've done. I've scoured the internets far and wide for this song, and I need some help. I could never get ALL the lyrics, but the chorus was something like "It's alright, it's okay, some of us can't take the pressure, can't take the pain." and it was really kinda sing-a-longy, there's "na na na"'s in there at some point. I know one lyric for sure was, "under the microscope, look at them go.." Vague, but its all i got.

It's not "Race for the Prize" by The Flaming Lips, is it? It matches about half your criteria and a few of the lyrics.

I like many others am in desperate need of help with a song that I've been working on for years to no avail. I think the major problem is that I can't really make out the lyrics well enough. The song is by some sort of late 70's-80's rock group. The singer has a pretty high voice and the guitars are really melodic. It sounds like it could be Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, or maybe even the Scorpions, I can't rightfully id them. The chorus sounds SOMETHING like "take me into your arms, can't you see I'm..." but I'm pretty sure those aren't the lyrics as all the songs I've checked with the lyrics "take me into" are NOT the song I'm looking for. It sounds kind of like Rainbow in the Dark by Dio, and for a long time I thought this was the song I'm looking for, but I heard it again on the radio the other day and it was definitely not Rainbow in the Dark, it is faster than that song. Any thoughts?

I just listened to those, and while awesome, they are not the song I am looking for. I guess the only part of the song that really sounds like Rainbow in the Dark is the chorus...the singer belts out something like along the same sort of progression as the chorus in the Dio song.

I need help please, I was recently at a Hifi and Home Cinema show and a guy played a test track which was brilliant, and I swear he said the artist was Chris Jones, but turns out I may have miss heard. Its done by what I think is a black guys voice, it might even be Jazz im not sure, and it starts with the first chorus and allot of base about Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem and how they couldnt get a room and compares it to modern day trials and tribulations, anyone any ideas?

I remember a band I used to listen to back in highschool (5-6 years ago), that would fall under the hardcore/emo/screamo genre I suppose. They had a few songs that would start off acoustic, and then switch into electric. I am trying for the life of me to remember who the hell they were. Sadly I don't have too much more info. I thought it was on broken wings, but I looked them up and don't think so anymore. For some reason I think the name starts with a B, but that could be completely wrong.

The progressions and melodies are similar, especially at the chorus. Ok, I'm looking for a song but I can only identify it by the music video. The music video was entirely from a first person perspective, and this guy in the video does several things, such as get drunk, go to a club or something, and have sex with some chick. I'm pretty sure it was from the mid to late 90's and it might have been europop or something. I could be making the whole thing up in my mind, it's a faint memory from childhood.

$20 if anybody can find this song for me. It will be practically impossible but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway. About 4-5 years ago I was browsing the web for Trance music. I came across some website that had this really great song playing in the background. I checked the source code, found the song file and downloaded it. It's about 60 minutes long. It's very dreamy trance, very soothing. More trance and less techno. There weren't rapid club drum beats all over the place. It was very serene. There were some lyrics that were sung towards like minutes 45-50 or so. It's hard for me to recall what was being said but for some reason a voice saying something about "space" (echos/repeats) or something to that effect. Like someone singing about outer space or going to outer space (I know I suck at this description). Details that might help. For a while I was convinced that the file was called meganite (which is Mauro Picotto I believe). He has a bunch of 1 hour+ recordings but I haven't been able to find them. His music style is a lot more club techno than the song I was listening to so I'm suspecting maybe I was wrong. It could have been a State of Trance (Armin Van Buuren) song but those tend to be more club songs again. It could still be either of the above, maybe I just look in the right place for either artist. If anybody can help I will be eternally thankful. I burned the song to a dvd but I lost it, the PC that had the song is long gone.

Martial Fur posted:$20 if anybody can find this song for me. A long shot, but could it be Sunlounger - Another Day on the Terrace? There are two different versions of the mix...one is more downtempo, and the other is more clubby/housey, but I'm pretty sure both versions use different mixes of the same songs. That link leads to the more downtempo one. Unfortunatly, it's only like 8 minutes of the mix, but hopefully it'll be enough to determine if it's what you are looking for or not.

Martial Fur posted:$20 if anybody can find this song for me. The only trance track I can think of is Cosmic Gate's Exploration of Space. If you're gonna look for it, make sure you get the 'extended version' mix. It's an awesome track. It's only 8+ minutes though but it could've been thrown in together with other tracks for a 60 min mix. Usually all the hour-long tracks are just mixes of a bunch of different tracks composed by various artists.

There was this Spanish-language song I heard just now in a bar, but I couldn't get to the DJ fast enough to find out what it was. Basically, there was this long horn solo that sounded like old-school Chicago, then the singer started singing in Spanish. Something about how "your parents don't like it when I'm at tu casa because I'm a drunk" or something like that. Like most of the songs that night, the beat seemed to be that pseudo-polka 2/4 rhythm. Any ideas?

You got me intrigued, so I did a little digging and I think it's a remix of a remix. This is very close: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lV_-uMCvU8 It's a remix of a 90's version of the track by Legato, this is remixed by Alex K for a Wigan Pier compilation (Scouse House UK label) I loving hate the term Scouse House, though.
